New York Times

Wednesday: The head line that caught my attention the most in Wednesday's paper was, "Daschle Ends Bid for Post; Obama Concedes Mistake". My eyes automatically fly to anything that has the Obama label on it because he's all around my life. I would go as far as to saw he's almost commercialized. For the first time really reading the New York Times, I can honestly say it was a lot more entertaining than I though. I always had a prejudice against it even though I had never honestly sat down and read it. It's not all business and updates on terror and war; I really enjoyed it!

Thursday: I guess I'll get used to seeing, pretty much, the same stories about the war and terrorism. They still attract me and I do have interest in reading them but at the same time I'm so desensitized to fear so much, not much can shake me. That sounds cold, but... true? My favorite article was one I didn't expect to like, it caught my eye though. Phelps was caught smoking marijuana?? After wining eight gold medals?? Breaking a bajillion olympic records... come ON!! If you're gonna do something illegal after being in the spotlight for so long... lets try and be discrete!
